And Finally, one influence I wanted to mention, was the incredibly talented and well known - famous artist, Eric Carle.
My main reasoning for selecting Eric Carle as an influential study, is due to 'his distinctive and instantly recognisable artwork and style', 'His artwork is created in a collage technique, using hand painted papers, which he cuts and layers to form bright cheerful images'.

My reasonings for singling Eric out as an celebrated artist and strong influence for my practice, is directly because of colour palette choices;

- Carle very much so, is instantly recognised to the public eye due to his unique style, but also due to his significantly bright and colourful use of pigments in his work.
The direct correlating link here, (Which is primarily what drew me to Eric Carle) is he's, well-known recognisable colour palette; Always bright, always prominent, eye catching, bold colours - which bounce off the page; Exactly my reasoning for following the route of a bright - expressive colour palette for my background samples. 'an identity' - in relation to the 'collection' element of the design theme.
